Electrostatic Discharging Systems from Eltex reduce up to 97% of residual static on plastic films, minimizing fire hazards. High static currents of 30-50V caused sparking during unwinding, especially when solvent-based inks were used, creating severe fire risks and slowing production. Unlike passive systems that only ground excess current, Eltex uses active generators that create ionized air clouds at the discharging bar’s needles.
